BUT it can be tricky layering the intricate designs and getting all the fabric to line up just right. Which can make what you thought would be a beautiful, layered design be a frustrating mess. But I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I have learned short cuts to get all the layers to line up just right, so you get the perfect modern fabric mandap for your wedding with one try! Personalize it by making it your own changing colors and adding textures to the examples shown.

Time needed: 3 hours

Instructions To Complete Your DIY Modern Fabric Mandap

  1. Set Up Stand

    Attach your base plates and uprights to create a square.

  2. Set Up Cross Bars

    Attach fabric of your choice to each of the 4 cross bars. Attach Valence to each cross bar.

  3. Attach Cross Bars

    Attach cross bars to the uprights.

  4. Gather Fabric

    Gather your fabric curtains and tie to the uprights.

  5. Attach Foral Decor

    Attach your floral decor with a C hook or zip tie to the upright and cross bar using a ladder.
